Our Story
How did this whole thing even get started?
Well let me take you back in time. It was the fall of 2018 and I was backpacking in Costa Rica. The weather was absolutely beautiful, but it was sunny, humid, and hot. I found myself either wearing a bro tank or a Hawaiian shirt on the daily, both have their pro’s and con’s. The bro tank was sleeveless, which allowed air to flow and allowed the arms to tan, but at the end of the day it’s a bro tank; not so classy. The Hawaiian on the other hand has a collar, buttons up, and some very fun patterns, but those sleeves were simply too much. One day as I was sitting at the beach the thought came to me “Why can’t I have both?”. I returned back to the mountains of Colorado later that fall and set out to make a few prototypes. I went to the local thrift store, found a few shirts, cut the sleeves off, folded the seam over, and did a simple hem. They were rudimentary, but that’s all I needed for myself.
I thought the story would end here. I started wearing my 3 shirts once summer came and would bust them out anytime I was traveling someplace warm. However, as I wore them, people started giving me unsolicited compliments on them and would ask where I got them. That’s when it hit me: I can’t keep these beauties all to myself! It has been a process of many baby steps since then, but we’re stoked to be on the journey of getting as many people as possible in our custom shirts. After all life is better without sleeves!

Our mission is to help you find your flow state. Whether it’s on a beach or in the mountains, at a music festival or on your yoga mat, riding your bike or reading your book, these shirts will aid in finding that flow state.
Meet the Team
Tyler Johnson: Founder
Tyler is a lover of nature, and can often be found outside. He is an avid traveler and recreationalist who loves biking, hiking, snowboarding, volleyball, kitesurfing, tennis and yoga. His spirit animal is a golden retriever: he loves people, going for walks, and is generally stoked to be here. For Tyler it’s all about doing cool things, in beautiful places, with amazing people.
